Taps Bugler

Bugle calls can be an important part of many special events. Whether sounding a call for attention or announcement, sounding To The Color at a patriotic ceremony, or performing Taps at a funeral or memorial service, Taps Bugler can provide this service to you or help you to find a bugler in your area. I have performed at Memorial Day and Veterans Day services in the Baltimore/Washington area, at many funerals and church services and at many Civil War related events. I sound Taps in a military uniform, Civil War uniform or dark suit, to fit the occasion.

    Dera Sir,
I am coordinating a reunion of USNMCB-58, a Seabee battaion which made three deployments to Vietnam. Our association will have its ninth reunion in Ventura, CA in conjunction with the opening of the new Seabee Museum in Port Hueneme. We will be joined by family members of our fallen and I wish to have a bugler perform Taps. Can you steer me in the proper direction? Thanks.

  6. I first played taps publicly at a Memorial Day ceremony in front of the Doughboy statue in my home town in south Texas while I was in high school. Today, as a Vietnam veteran (Navy), I would be honored to play at memorial and funeral services for veterans in the Greater Seattle area. Since I am a trumpet tutor, I can usually supply an echo trumpeter from among my students, if desired. Please see my blog, http://glennstrumpetnotes.com. You may email me at glennled@aol.com or phone 206-200-6767.
